“Ace” footballer cleans up

Former professional footballer Jason Harris has achieved his goal.

Along with business partner Les Black he has moved his Pontefract business Ace Professional Valeting Services into premises at Bondgate Industrial Estate. The business provides car cleaning and valet services to private and corporate customers including Ardagh Glass, Keepmoat, Carleton Furniture, Carpenters of York and Yorkshire Investment Group.

The premises were formerly occupied by Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce as a Training Centre. They now provide an extensive indoor valet shop, waiting area, offices and an outdoor wash area which allow Jason and his team to provide an enhanced service to customers.

Jason said “We are pleased to make the move to Bondgate having outgrown our former premises at Mill Dam Lane and South Baileygate. The new premises at Bondgate will allow us to provide a first class service in a customer friendly environment”

Chris Rowlands of Chris Rowlands & Co. letting agent for the site owners, Direct Estates Limited, said “A decision was taken to invest in this building including re-cladding the exterior and improving the internal facilities in order to attract a good quality tenant. We have been pleased to deal with Jason and Les and wish them well in the expansion of their business”.
