Joseph Locke Houses new tenant in Barnsley

Acting for Mapeley Estates Limited who manages the Government’s property holdings, Chris Rowlands & Co negotiated the letting of 3,500 sq ft on the fourth floor of Joseph Locke House, Barnsley to Remploy who will set up an employment training office.

The building is best known as the home of the Inland Revenue in Barnsley but it also accommodates other businesses including Job Seekers and the Medical Examination Centre.

Imogen Ebbs asset manager for Mapeley Estates said “This is an important letting for Mapeley. It means that Joseph Locke House is fully occupied once more and we are delighted that terms were agreed with Remploy in a relatively short time of the space coming to the market.”
