Core Blimey! Appleton Court pips other sites to secure fruitful lettings in Wakefield

There has been a flurry of activity recently at key office park Appleton Court, near Junction 39 of the M1 at Wakefield recently.

Chris Rowlands & Co, acting for Berkshire Asset Management the company that owns the majority of Appleton Court, has agreed new leases with Carefree Management Limited, SLK Interiors and Jelly Communications.

In addition existing tenants Who Remembers Me and Kenneth Grubb Associates have both extended their leases and taken extra space. In a separate transaction and acting for a private investor client a lease of the first floor at 1 Appleton Court has been concluded with E-on UK Limited who will use the office as a base for their renewable energy business.

Appleton Court seems to be bucking the trend of the general office market in the region. This may be because the landlords are prepared to discuss long term leases or short term flexible occupancy.

Although much of the development is now occupied a few suites from 330 sq ft up to 1,800 sq ft are still available. Chris Rowlands & Co. www.chrisrowlands.co.uk has all the details.
