Brace of Barugh Green lettings

Chris Rowlands & Co has secured two new lettings on the Claycliffe Industrial Estate at Barugh Green, Barnsley.

Unit 27 owned by Hedley Park Developments and amounting to 2740 sq ft is a trade counter unit. It has been leased to Starlight Blinds for a period of five years. Andy Meggitt, director of Starlight Blinds said that the move was important to the company in terms of improving the profile and making it more customer friendly with better showroom facilities. The previous unit at Carlton had served them well but was now too small and not in keeping with the image that the company wished to project.

Unit 35 amounts to 2268 sq ft including a first floor office. This was a double deal in that the freehold was sold by YGS Limited to a private client pension scheme who then agreed a lease to All In One Group, a multi discilplined construction company. Chris Symeou, managing director of All In One expressed his delight at securing the unit on a new lease saying that it facilitated the company’s expansion plans and provided an excellent base for the business with a combined warehouse and office in an ideal location.
