Scarborough letting agreed with new kitchen and interiors company
Acting for Scarborough Company Forge Estates Chris Rowlands & Co has agreed a lease with SI Interiors of Unit 1 at Orchard Court, Scarborough. The modern unit which has been used previously as Scarborough Go Kart Centre and more recently as Riverside Motors as a car supermarket will be adapted for use as a kitchen, bedroom and furniture showroom.

Steve Hudson, director of SI Interiors is a well known Scarborough businessman who said “We have been looking at this building for some time because it ideally suits the proposals we have to make SI Interiors successful. We recognise that the economic climate is less than ideal for starting a new venture but I believe I know the people of Scarborough well through my previous businesses the best known of which is Sunblinds Limited. The blinds and garage doors aspects of that business will be incorporated into the new business and we are looking forward to starting trading at Orchard Court”
The 15,000 sq ft building has been let for a term of ten years. Gordon Dudley of Forge Estates said “We wish SI Interiors well in the new venture and we would like to thank Chris Rowlands for his tenacity in marketing the building and finding us a good tenant”.
